Isabelle M. (Vandeven) Koenig, age 76, of Edwardsville, died at 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

She was born on Jan. 20, 1931, in Glennon, Mo., the daughter of the late Frank and Frances DeBrock Vandeven. She married Eugene Koenig on May 5, 1956, in Leopold, Mo. He survives.

Also surviving are five sons: Michael Koenig of Indianapolis, Ind., Mark Koenig and wife, Sharyn of San Diego, Calif., David Koenig and wife, Merrill of O'Fallon, Mo., Gregory Koenig and wife, Kathleen of Valparaiso, Ind., and Timothy Koenig and wife, Shawn of Maryville; a daughter: Debra Zeiss and husband, Bud of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren; and a brother: Sylvester "Bud" Vandeven and wife, Mary of Marble Hill, Mo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and Milford "Butch" Vandeven; and two sisters: Marie Martin and Alma Janis.

Mrs. Koenig was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edwardsville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at Weber and Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.

Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edwardsville with Fr. John Beveridge, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Glennon, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund or masses.
