Anna Marie Horrell, age 83, of Glennon, MO died Sunday, May 9, 2004 at her residence.

She was born July 28, 1920 at Leopold, daughter of Herman Bernard and Mary Cecilia Nenninger Wubker.

Mrs. Horrell was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies Sodality, the Bollinger County Historical Society, a Rosie the riveter during WW II, a local Election Official, she weighed cotton, made many lap quilt for local nursing homes and cleaned houses.

Survivors include; her husband Leo, three sons; Aaron (Paula) Horrell of Chaffee, Dennis (Pam) and Joe Horrell of Marble Hill, six daughters Bernice ( John) Springer and Judy ( Jim) Sander of Jackson, Shirley (Larry) Schott of Millersville, Gladys (Bob) Hency of Cape Girardeau, Barbara (Leonard) Engelen of Leopold, Kateri (Matt) Ruch of Daisy, one daughter-n-law, Nancy Horrell of Cape Girardeau, three brothers Frank Wubker of Cape Girardeau, Sylvester Wubker of St. Peters, MO, Alphonse Wubker of Wentzville, MO, twenty five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one son Norman, two brothers, one grandson and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 12, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish Prayers and K of C Rosary at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Glennon, Rev. Bill Huggins Officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
