Celestine Marie Eeftink, 81, of Marble Hill, MO died Monday June 19, 2006 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 20, 1924 at Leopold, MO, daughter of Anthony and Rose Vandoren Stoverink. She and Lawrence Eeftink were married Sept. 13, 1947 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Leopold.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church at Glennon and the Ladies Sodality of the church.
Survivors include; her husband Lawrence, sons; Richard Eeftink, Leopold, Leon Eeftink, Scott City, MO, Gerald Eeftink, Jackson, MO, daughters; Anita Vandeven, Puxico, MO, Mary Jansen and Edna Seiler both of Leopold, one sister, Beatrice Landewee, Leopold, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home Thursday June 22, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with Parish Prayers followed by K of C Rosary at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Glennon, with Msgr. Edward Eftink Officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
