Robert John Eftink, 62 of Marble Hill died Friday, April 7, 2006, as a result of an accident.

He was born May 5, 1943, in Glennon, Mo., son of Joseph Bernard and Anna Marie Trankle Eftink.

Eftink was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation as a road inspector and served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a brother, Charles Eftink of Leopold, Mo.; three sisters, Bernice Horman of Clubb, Mo., Carol Welker of Patton, Mo., and Rita Holshouser of Marble Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home; parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
