Joseph H. Eftink, 53, of Advance died February 22, 1999 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born December 19, 1945 at Glennon, son of Joseph B. and Anna M. Trankle Eftink.

He was of the Catholic faith, an army veteran and was employed with Lillie Anne Construction Co. of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Aaron Eftink of Jackson; three brothers, Robert Eftink of Marble Hill, Charles Eftink and Mark Eftink both of Leopold and three sisters, Bernice Horman of Clubb, Mo., Carol Welker of Patton and Rita Holshouser of Marble Hill.

Funeral Mass and burial was celebrated February 25 at St. Anthony's Church in Glennon.
