Funeral mass and burial for Mrs. Mary E. (Mayme) Stause of Lutesville was held Saturday at St. Anthony's Church in Glennon. Mrs. Stause died Thursday, February 15, 1990 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was 81.

She was born September 9, 1908 at Glennon, daughter of Jacob and Rose DeBrock Beel. She married Hubert Stause May 17, 1926 who died February 10, 1976.

Mrs. Stause was a lifelong resident of the area, member of St. Anthony's Church and the Ladies Sodality.

Survivors are four sons, Jim Stause of Jackson, Clarence Stause of Leopold, Norman Stause of Dexter, and Alvin Stause of Lutesville; three daughters, Marie Hinkebein of Jackson, Margie Klipfel of New Hamburg, Ella Elfrink of Jackson; three sisters, Rose Cobb and Ella Prince of St. Louis, Agnes Elfrink of Portageville, 27 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick and Robert, a brother, sister and grandson.
